Samba Mounts?
I'd love to mount a samba share (NAS drive that has about 30tb of video data actually). Unfortunately, from what I can tell, it needs to be compiled into the kernel. Furthermore, it doesn't seem like this kernel supports loadable modules. I wonder if anyone else has been able to successfully build and install their own kernel?

Did you make any progress on this. I'm trying ubuntu 18.04 and get to the same point.
I have the same basic question. I need HFS+ filesystem, and SMB sharing. Apparently both require kernel modules? How do I even do this?
Are you trying to mount a drive already attached to the Renegade and then share it over the network or are you trying to access already available drives on the network?
