Won't get an internal IP after powering off

Hi,

I'm having a problem where if the board's power is turned off then back on, it won't get an internal IP. This happened 3 times now.

Using Armbian
I have a thumbdrive plugged into it with fstab setup correctly (sudo mount -a retuns no errors)

The only fix is to reload the OS.

What is going on?
