Not all USB port recognize my USB hard disk
Hi Forum,
I'm having an issue with this little board. I'm running Debian 9 from a SD card. When I attach my Seagate USB 3.0 hard disk to botton USB 2.0 port, it can be recognized by system ("fdisk -l" show it). However, if I attach it to top USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port. Even "lsusb" shows it attached, but "fdisk -l" cannot find it.
I bought this board for it's USB 3.0. If it's not working, really not make no sense.
Any thought?

are you using a powered hub?, the board can't supply enuff thru usb to
power hard drives properly
No, I'm not using hub.
Wired enough that armbian recognize my usb 3.0 hard drive without any issue. Since armbian also support docker engine, I'm using it now. IMO, armbian is much better than firefly for headless usage.
We handle the image work and we are still waiting on the FireFly team to give us a stable mainline git repo of Linux and u-boot for RK3328. We don't have the experience to provide support for images built from the Rockchip SDK.
