ROCKUSB MODE
Hi Guys!
I`m using a ROC-RK3328-CC (4GB) with a 32Gb emmc module, successfully installed a ubuntu on emmc but now I want to install an OMV4 and my board only boot in MASKROM mode when I follow the instructions (https://roc-rk3328-cc.readthedocs.io/en/latest/flash_emmc.html) to boot on ROCKUSB.
by de way, the boar is working fine with ubuntu installed, very fast and stable.
I think that will be only possible to format/erase the emmc module in ROCKUSB mode.
Do you guys know how to enter in ROCKUSB mode or another way to format/reinstall an OS on emmc module on ROC-RK3328-CC board?
Thank you!

Cornelius,
Thank you very much, I will try it.
Do you have a ROC-RK3328-CC? did enter successfully in the ROCKBUS mode instead of MASKROM mode?

OK I just double checked how I was able to do it and the above is wrong. Sorry about that, but it had been a long time since I've needed to do this.
This is really simple and it works for me in Linux.
Attach the eMMC.
Plug up the MicroUSB for power and the other USB cable as suggested here.
Power on the board, whilst holding down the recovery for 3 seconds and release.
You should now see the board come up as storage on your PC.
You can now unplug or poweroff the board and write a new .IMG to it. Etcher or Gnome-Disk-Utility should work just fine.
Of course I have no idea how this would work on a Windows or Mac system, because I don't have or use that OS. But it works just fine using Debian.
NOTE: I know this method didn't work for me when I first got the eMMC and I think it's because my PC didn't recognize the filesystem. Hence the reason I went that other route as mentioned.
Anyway, I hope this helps and sorry for the confusion.
Cornelius,
Works for me! Thank you man!
Note: Works in linux, not windows
