While I'm no fan of misleading advertising, there does need to be some acknowledgement of the realities of both open source development in general, and this situation in particular. I believe it's relevant that
We haven't had our hardware 11 months - the board as delivered arguably didn't exist 11 months ago, so that date seems somewhat arbitrary (given at that point you knew you didn't have hardware, and wouldn't be having it in the next few days)
"beta image" doesn't mean, or imply, that there's a releaseable version at that point, or even in the immediate future
it would appear that LibreElec/Kodi support is being provided by a 'third party' - as in the release will come from the project itself, rather than a hacked fork - so there is limited control that the LaFrite team have over the speed of such a release (indeed, looking through the LibreElec project there appears to be a PR that includes support for this board that was made in, initially submitted in July, specifically mentions LaFrite in updates from the last 14 days)
From the outset I have had the impression that 'support' was to be by full mainline upstream support. Not by bolt on board packages that lose maintenance and go out of date, but fully integrated into the relevant projects (predominantly through linux kernel support, IIRC). This again leads to third-party release schedules and a time lag.
I would like a LibreElec image. It is frustrating that it is not currently available. I do not believe that the kickstarter was misleading. It would seem to have been a bit hopeful, perhaps, but the communication as to what is happening has been accurate, and driven by actual updates - when there's something to tell us, we get told.
For my part, it's taking some reading to get up to speed on the format of LibreElec across versions, though I hope to clarify where it's at, and when it might appear. There seems to be a difference between LibreElec 9 and 10 with how the devices are specified. Or there isn't. Still reading
So you are telling us that the LibreELEC image you used for Kickstarter is fake and non-existent that is why you don't want to release it even if its working well. Kindly read your kickstarter campaign so that you are familiar with your flowery promises and convincing lies.

If you want pre-made images, wait. Simple as that. We will not respond to further inquiries on this matter.
