Missing Kickstarter items - KickStarter La Frite Backer #2197

I did receive my La Frite, power supply, HDMI cable and eMMc module, got eMMC flash, working good so far but am wondering when the remaining items will ship :

• Wireless Mezzanine with Dual-Band, 2T2R, Bluetooth 4.2, Antennas
• La Frite Polycarbonate Case with Fan
• GenBasic Omni Remote

I am sorry to say that the echo of your words here tells you everything you need to know about the fulfilment of their promises to you. I hope i am wrong, for your sake.

TLDR: They don't have the software ready for the mezzanine and if/when they do they'll make them if/when they get enough orders. 


When I asked I was told: "There's some software infrastructure for auto-detection and device tree overlay that has to go in before the mezzanine is released. It's not a hardware holdup but rather a software one. Once the software framework is done, the hardware EEPROM needs to be programmed."

In another thread they said "Due to MOQ requirements [items] are produced in as part of larger batches."
