I would love to see a release of the SDK kit for android so we can start to see more custom ROMs out for this board then we can start to make better use of the board offard
Wow, this is crazy late, but I feel compelled to post this, since I haven't had a chance to try it yet, and here i see someone interested in Manjaro! About a month ago, one of the Manjaro ARM devs was building out images for some Khadas VIMs. It sparked with me that the VIM1 (had a working Manjaro image) was pretty close to the le potato, so I inquired about getting Manjaro working on one. Apparently it's crazy easy to set up the images for it. All you need to do is download a Manjaro image for VIM, and edit the dtb filename in uEnv.ini, to meson-gxl-s905x-libretech-cc.dtb. I'm adding a link to the post that details how to prepare a Manjaro VIM image for a Le Potato. I still intend to try it out myself, but if anyone wants to beat me to it and share with the LoveRPi/Manjaro communities, I welcome you to it!
The kernels should all be the same if they are using upstream Linux. The only tweak that is needed is to feed the kernel the proper device tree specifying the board layout.
Current Manjaro Arm is actually using newer kernels, and I had the proper dtb file, but when the SD didn't boot (after removing eMMC) it seems to be an issue with the u-boot in their repositories. If I continue pursuing this, I'm going to see if I can load Manjaro through Grub. Does Grub only respond to corded keyboards? I've tried a few keyboards so far, but none let me interact with GRUB.
EDIT: Manjaro Arm now utilizes mainline uboot. It may be easier to do this now. (I cannot b/c I sold my Potato to a friend.)

BTRFS is better than most other FS for flash storage. EXT4 will wear out a poorly designed flash device much faster.
